Photos of our minivan

This is a ground view long after we had been removed from the scene. David fell at the middle of the photograph. To the left it looks like his shirt and undershirt. The 911 dispatcher had Laurie turn on the flashers. Somewhere along the line the van was started and left running. The cones mark where spent shells were found. The one immediately in front of the beige SUV (which was not there at the time of the shooting) is 27 feet from our minivan.
This is the passenger side window - where David sat. The bullets came crashing into the window while we were hunched down in the foot wells. David opened this door to get out and help Rachel thinking Matthew Murray had moved on from their vehicle. In fact he was at the front of the minivan just beyond the light pole, about 45 feet away. This photo was taken later that night.
Matthew tried to shoot at us in the foot wells. These two bullets however did not penetrate the windshield. One tore off the windshield wiper.
